Meet Elyse Lawson
Hi! My name is Elyse Lawson, owner of Everly, and I am so grateful you want to learn more about our company. Prior to starting Everly, I worked in higher and secondary education planning large-scale recruitment events, advising student leadership roles, and assisting students through the college application process. As a 6th generation Charlestonian with saltwater in my veins, I couldn’t wait to get back to the Lowcountry after out-of-state college and the start of my career left me landlocked for far too long. Thankfully, doors opened that allowed me and my family to get back to Charleston in 2019 and establish roots in Mount Pleasant.
As someone who has always had a passion for organization and intentional, joy-filled living, I have spent time throughout the years helping family and close friends decorate and create simplified spaces. However, in 2022, following the death of our daughter, Evelyn Grace, I found this creative outlet shift from a passion into a purpose. Many people navigating grief find that “turning pain into purpose” is what helps them get through their most difficult days, and that is what this venture has become for me.
